Robert M. Regoli is professor of sociology at the University of Colorado in
Boulder. He received a Ph.D. in sociology from Washington State University,
where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Professor Regoli is the author of more
than 100 journal publications and books, past president and fellow of the
Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences, and the recipient of two J. William
Fulbright awards, where he studied at the Institute of Criminology, National
Taipei University, in Taiwan.
John D. Hewitt is professor of criminal justice at Grand Valley State University
in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He received his Ph.D. in sociology from Washington
State University. Professor Hewitt is the author or co-author of four books and
more than 40 articles. His writings have been published in journals such as
Justice Quarterly, Crime and Delinquency, Law and Human Behavior, Social
Forces, Journal of Social Research, and Law and Policy Quarterly. |
