Instructor’s Supplements

Annotated Instructor's Edition (AIE; ISBN 0073192627) This special version of the textbook provides all of your teaching resources tied together. It contains extensive references to the Instructor's Manual regarding lecture tips, ethics notes, Internet references, international notes, and the availability of PowerPoint slides. The lecture tips vary in content and purpose— providing an alternative perspective on a subject, suggesting important points to be stressed, giving further examples, or recommended readings. Other annotations include notes for the Real-World Tips, Concept Questions, Self-Test Problems, End of Chapter Problems, Videos and answers to the End of Chapter Problems.

Instructors Resource CD-ROM (ISBN 0072991550), allows instructors to easily keep all their supplements in one place! The CD contains all the necessary supplements— Instructor's Manual, Solutions, Test Bank word files, Computerized Test Bank, and PowerPoint— in electronic format. It also includes selected video clips and exhibits from the textbook.

Instructor's Resource Manual with Solutions (ISBN 0072991542 for print version) Prepared by Cheri Etling, University of Tampa; The instructor's resource manual is a great place to find new lecture ideas. The first section contains a chapter outline and other lecture materials. The annotated outline for each chapter includes lecture tips, real-world tips, ethics notes, suggested PowerPoint slides, and when appropriate, a video synopsis. Detailed solutions for all end-of-chapter problems appear in section two. The solutions have been improved in this edition, with greater detail provided. In addition, all solutions are available in Excel format, and there are also selected problems with calculator keystroke solutions available.

Test Bank (ISBN 0073027146 for print version) Prepared by Kay Johnson, Penn State University - Erie; The Seventh Edition test bank contains all new questions that closely link with the text. Two Quizzes have been added to the beginning of each chapter— a new feature to the Seventh Edition— providing even more testing options. Each chapter is divided into four parts. Part I contains questions that test the understanding of the key terms. Part II contains questions patterned after the learning objectives, concept questions, chapter-opening vignettes, boxes, and highlighted phrases. Part III contains multiple-choice and true/false problems patterned after the end of chapter questions, in basic, intermediate, and challenge levels. Part IV provides essay questions to test problem-solving skills and more advanced understanding of concepts.

Computerized Test Bank (Windows). Located on the IRCD, this new program helps instructors create their own tests in a snap! Using McGraw-Hill's EZ Test testing software, instructors can quickly create customized exams. This user-friendly program allows instructors to sort questions by format; edit existing questions or add new ones, and scramble questions for multiple versions of the same test.

PowerPoint. Located on the IRCD, this presentation includes lecture-oriented slides, as well as examples from both the book and outside sources. Applicable slides have Web links that go directly to specific Internet sites, or a spreadsheet link to show an example in Excel. The Notes Page function provides tips in presenting the slides. Instructors who already have PowerPoint installed on their PCs have the ability to easily edit, print, or rearrange the presentation to meet their specific needs.

Videos (ISBN 0072991577). McGraw-Hill/Irwin produces a current series of videos that are 10-minute case studies on topics such as Financial Markets, Careers, Rightsizing, Capital Budgeting, Economic Value Added (EVA), Mergers and Acquisitions, and International Finance.

Student’s Supplements

A Student CD-ROM is packaged free with every new textbook. It contains Self-Study Software that allows students to test their knowledge of one or several chapters by using questions written specifically for the textbook. There are at least 100 questions per chapter. The CD-ROM also includes new PowerPoint narrated specifically for students. Each chapter's slides follow the chapter topics and provide steps and explanations using real-life examples. A quick click on each slide will "talk through" its contents for a richer learning experience. There are also new Interactive Modules that highlight a key concept and simulate how to solve it, asking students to input certain variables. This hands-on approach reinforces the most important corporate finance topics. Excel Templates that correspond to many end of chapter problems are also included on the CD, along with additional Web links to the book's Online Learning Center and other important Web sites.

Standard & Poor's Educational Version of Market Insight. McGraw-Hill/Irwin is proud to partner with Standard & Poor's to offer access to the Educational Version of Standard & Poor's Market Insight. This rich online resource provides six years of fundamental financial data for 1000 top companies. S&P-specific problems can be found at the end of almost all chapters in this text, and ask students to solve a problem by using research found on this site. The password-protected Web site is the perfect way to bring real data into today's classroom. A site identification access code is free with every new copy of the text. Student Problem Manual (ISBN 0073027154), prepared by Thomas Eyssell, University of Missouri - St. Louis. Available for purchase and packaging, this valuable resource provides students with additional problems for practice. Each chapter begins with Concepts for Review, followed by Chapter Highlights. These re-emphasize the key terms and concepts in the chapter. A short Concept Test, averaging 10 questions and answers, appears next. Each chapter concludes with additional problems. Answers to these problems appear at the end of the Student Problem Manual. The Student Problem Manual can be packaged with the text at a discount by ordering ISBN 0073585424 (standard edition) or ISBN 0073585459 (alternate edition).

Ready Notes (ISBN 0072991747), Ready Notes provide students with an inexpensive note-taking system that contains a reduced copy of every Instructor's PowerPoint available, so they can focus on listening instead of copying the slide. They can focus on the main points more clearly. Ready Notes can be packaged with the text at a discount by ordering ISBN 0073585432 (standard edition) or ISBN 0073585440 (alternate edition).
