  1. Why do you think it is that boxing has traditionally been a male sport?
  2. What might be some common reactions to female boxers?

  1. What kind of information is presented about each boxer? Do the articles make an issue of the fact that these boxers are women?
  2. What do you think of the photographs of the boxers? Do any of the women purposefully present themselves in an especially feminine light, or not? Why is this the case, in your view?
