One key area of gender stratification is in pay for work outside the home. On average, women make less money than men in their jobs. The reasons for this are complex, but have to do in part with gender socialization, gender segregation in the work place, gender differences in child care obligations, and gender discrimination. Answer the following questions to express how you feel about practices that might indirectly help to close the income gap between men and women. Once you've finished, check to see how other students using Reel Society and are participating in this poll, answered these questions.
