As a "model minority," Asian Americans are frequently subject to stereotypes. While some of these stereotypes may appear to be positive, they ignore a great deal of diversity among Asian Americans. They can also lock Asian Americans into behavioral expectations that may be very constraining. Before taking this class, did you believe some or all of these stereotypes?
