| Donna Ulmer, CPA, CITP (Certified Information Technology Professional), has provided
computer software training to college students, faculty, businesses, and non-profit
organizations.
Three times nominated to Who's Who Among America's Teachers, Dr. Ulmer is the
recipient of the first St. Louis Community College Faculty Service Learning
Award for her use of service learning with computer accounting applications.
Donna earned her B.S. from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville where
she also earned an MBA with an emphasis in accounting and information systems.
She obtained her Ph.D. from Saint Louis University where she conducted doctoral
research on the effectiveness of instructional techniques for the computer classroom. Donna is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants,
Missouri Society of CPAs, Missouri Association of Accounting Educators, and
Teachers of Accounting at Two-Year Colleges. She has served on the American
Accounting Association's Committee to Promote Interaction Between Two-Year College
Faculty and Faculty at Other Institutions, AAA Benchmarking Listserv, and the
AAA Committee to Develop a Faculty Competency Model for College Accounting Professors.
Dr. Ulmer is the co-author of Information Overload: Have You Considered a
PDA?, published in The Asset, a publication of the Missouri Society of Certified
