Feature Summary
  • Clearly written explanations of concepts as well as methods. The Stevenson text has been the long time market leading title because it is understandable for undergraduate business students. This hallmark of the text results from the author's devotion to and experience in teaching combined with thorough development contributions and suggestions from hundreds of adopters.

  • Up to date revisions incorporate the latest concepts and applications while not losing focus on the core concepts of Operations Management.
While some titles may overemphasize the latest hot buzzword, Stevenson integrates new ideas carefully and appropriately so that students have a long lasting understanding of the important operations management considerations to carry forward in the rest of their studies and in their careers.

  • The Stevenson text has always supported students in applying concepts and methods, with solved problems, examples, questions, problems, and cases. Students learn by doing, and the Stevenson text offers more support for 'doing Operations' than any other.

  • Learning support for students-the text includes a Student DVD complete with updated Excel templates and screencam tutorials, data files, video scenes and longer videos from companies like DHL, BMW, BP, Ford, Honda, United Airlines, McDonalds, Louisville Slugger, Disney, and many more, self quizzes, web links, and much more.
