    Internet Exercise: Go to the website (www.ncjrs.org) and define Embezzlement, and add some statistical data showing how often it's committed, and who commits it.

  3. Your text talks about white-collar crime and the victims of white-collar crime.

    Internet Exercise: Go to the website (www.ojp.usdoj.gov) and list who the actual victims of white-collar crime are. Are they predominantly one age group?

  4. One emerging category of white collar/corporate crime is Internet fraud. The United States Department of Justice maintains a web site that focuses on this type of crime: (www.internetfraud.usdoj.gov/)

    Internet Exercise: After you have accessed the main screen for this site, scroll down and review the contents, including the sections entitled "What is Internet fraud?"; "What are the major types of Internet fraud?"; "What is the Department of Justice doing about Internet fraud?"; and "How should I deal with Internet fraud?" Then, respond to the following:

    1. Briefly describe criminal activities that constitute Internet fraud.
    2. How might YOU be affected by Internet fraud?

    After you have read the article, respond to the following:
