Strong Research Base: Learning to Teach begins with the research. Each models chapter begins with a "Theoretical and Empirical Support" section that provides the knowledge base that underlies the recommended teaching practices found in each chapter. Throughout the chapter, relevant research is cited and discussed. Key studies are highlighted by the Research Summary feature.
Focus on Practical Applications: Learning to Teach connects research to application through both practical content and ways to apply what is learned. Each chapter provides the practical information and strategies students need to know to be successful teachers.
