Installing QuickBooks Software

Note: If you are using a network in a computer classroom, install the QuickBooks software to the local hard drives.

To install QuickBooks software:

Insert the QuickBooks CD-ROM in the computer’s CD drive.
If the installation program starts automatically, a CD Install window appears. Click Install QuickBooks, then follow the onscreen instructions.
If the installation program does not start automatically, complete the following steps to install QuickBooks:
- Click Start on the Windows ® taskbar.
- Select Control Panel.
- Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- Click Install.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to install QuickBooks software.
