The Urban Institute
The Urban Institute is a nonprofit, nonpartisan policy research and educational organization that was established to examine the social, economic, and governance problems facing the nation. It provides information and analysis to public and private decision makers to help them address these challenges, and it strives to raise citizen understanding of these issues and tradeoffs in policy making. The Web page contains reports on housing discrimination, education, poverty immigration, welfare reform, etc.

Institute on Race and Poverty
IRP's strategic research examines the underlying causes of problems created at the intersections of racial and economic discrimination. IRP works with community groups, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, policy makers, foundations, and others to design practical studies that address community-defined problems. Women of Color Resource Center
Founded in 1990, the Women of Color Resource Center (WCRC) is headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area and promotes the political, economic, social, and cultural well being of women and girls of color in the United States. Informed by a social-justice perspective that takes into account the status of women internationally, WCRC is committed to organizing and educating women of color across lines of race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, class, sexual orientation, physical ability, and age.
