Upon completion of this chapter, the student will be able to:
1. Distinguish between annulment, dissolution, and divorce.
2. Understand the reasons a marriage may be annulled.
3. Understand the consequences of an annulment.
4. Describe the differences between a no-fault divorce and a fault divorce.
5. Discuss the most common grounds required to get a fault divorce and some of the defenses that can be raised.
6. Understand the requirements to obtain a no-fault divorce.
7. Understand the distinction between a divorce and dissolution of marriage.
