The case is based on an actual growing, entrepreneurial, manufacturing company that is complex enough to demonstrate decisions management must make, yet simple enough that a sophomore student can easily understand the entire operations of the company. The case requires students to do tasks they would perform working as the managerial accountant for the company. The required tasks are directly related to the concepts learned in all managerial accounting classes.
