Activity 5.7: Your Equity Sensitivity

Correcting feelings of inequity is one of the most powerful motivating forces in the workplace. But people react differently to equitable and inequitable situations based on their equity sensitivity. Equity sensitivity refers to a person's outcome/input preferences and reaction to various outcome/input ratios when compared to other people.
     This self-assessment helps you to estimate your level of equity sensitivity. Read each statement in this instrument and indicate the degree to which you personally agree or disagree with that statement.

I prefer to do as little as possible at work while getting as much as I can from my employer.
I an most satisfied at work when I have to do as little as possible.
When I am at my job, I think of ways to get out of work.
If I could get away with it, I would try to work just a little bit slower than the boss expects.
It is really satisfying to me when I can get something for nothing at work.
