CONFLICT (IE 7–1) AND ONLINE INTERNET EXERCISE 7–1

The objective of this exercise is to learn more about conflict by using a supersite. A supersite is a website with links to other websites. Essentially, you go to one site that links/directs you to another website. Thus, for this exercise, you will actually visit two websites. Do the following:

  1. Go to the Work911 website homepage—www.work911.com

  2. Click on "Over 2,000 Articles About Workplace Issues." Scroll down and click on "Conflict." Look through the list of free articles, click on an article that interests you, and read it (your instructor may require you to make a copy of it).

  3. Questions: (1) What is the name of the website you went to? (2) Who is the author and what is the title of the article you read? (3) What is the basic message of the article you read? (4) How can you use this information to help resolve conflicts in your personal and professional life? (Your instructor may require you to type and print your answers.)
