Learning System. To keep students from drowning in the sea of information covered in the course, the Learning System keeps the key ideas in front of them from the beginning to the end of the chapter. Learning goals are presented at the beginning of each chapter (in conjunction with a chapter outline/map), revisited in the “Review and Reflect” summary that concludes each section, and summarized in a “Reach Your Learning Goals” end-of-chapter visual.
