  2. Explain and evaluate Piaget and Kohlberg's theories of moral development, and be able to compare and contrast the two theories.
  3. Discuss Carol Gilligan's contribution to our understanding of moral reasoning differences between men and women.
  4. Describe children's understandings of violations of social conventions, citing current research findings.
  5. Discuss the relationship between moral judgment and moral behavior.
  6. Outline the development of self-control and various factors that influence its development.
  7. Describe the development of altruism and prosocial behavior, including changes and stability in such behavior as well as gender differences.
