  1. Define developmental psychopathology and discuss the four basic principles that can be applied to it.

  10. Discuss childhood depression and changes in the symptoms across development. Differentiate between the biological, social, and psychological, and cognitive theoretical conceptualizations and treatment and prevention approaches for childhood depression.
  11. Describe the characteristics and symptoms of autism, possible causes for the disorder, and treatment approaches.
  12. How does autism differ from Asperger's disorder? Use the differences to explain what is meant by the term autism spectrum disorders.
