Chapter 7 - Reaching Out Across Your Campus

In the exercise for Chapter 6, you might have found others who shared your issue of interest across the globe. Perhaps you even found some fellow students from your school who are interested in your issue. Now is the time to reach out within your campus, and find others who share in your beliefs on your issue. Using your newfound contacts, determine if an organization already exists that has a vested interest in your issue. If there is not one, consider creating a group to get the word out on your campus. Initially, the best audience with which to share and refine your message, is one that is sympathetic to your cause. Check out your school's website for specific guidelines on creating a student organization. Also, check out the links below that will aide you in creating your own organization.
