Linda Meeks and Philip Heit are emeritus professors in the College of Education and Human Ecology at The Ohio State University. To date, they have authored more than 300 health education textbooks used by millions of students—preschool through college—including Health and Wellness K-12, published by Glencoe/McGraw-Hill. Linda and Philip have helped state departments of education and numerous school districts develop comprehensive school health education curricula and implement the National Health Education Standards. They have trained teachers throughout the world, including teachers in Egypt, Jordan, Greece, Japan, Germany, England, Spain, Bermuda, Saudi Arabia, the Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. Randy M. Page is a Professor of Health at Brigham Young University. He has written more than 75 articles in professional journals, consulted with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and conducted research on adolescent health in the United States, Asia, Eastern Europe, and Latin America. He is a coauthor of Health & Wellness [high school] with Linda and Philip.
