Dr. George T. Arnold, a professor emeritus in the W. Page Pitt School of Journalism and Mass Communications at Marshall University, is a language skills specialist with more than 40 years' experience as a journalist and journalism educator. In addition to Media Writer's Handbook, he is author of more than 50 articles in professional and scholastic journals. Dr. Arnold has been recognized for his classroom, seminar and workshop teaching with membership in three halls of fame and awards at the campus, state and national levels.
