  1. Visit the official U.S. government website for Medicare beneficiaries at http://www.medicare.gov. Use the Medicare Personal Plan Finder to help you decide on the right Medicare health plan for a senior family member or friend. Compare benefits, costs, options, and provider quality information.


  2. Go to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) website at http://www.cms.hhs.gov. Select the link for the Quarterly Provider Update, which contains quarterly updates on all changes to Medicare’s regulations and instructions that affect providers. Click the link for the latest issue’s table of contents, and then select the link for Physicians in the list of specific Medicare providers. Read about one Medicare regulation that physicians should know about that is currently undergoing change.


  3. Go to the CMS website for Medicare physicians at http://www.cms.hhs.gov/physicians/. Look up information on a topic under billing and payment.


  4. CMS has a series of online educational articles called MLN Matters that inform physicians about the latest changes to the Medicare program. Visit http://www.cms.hhs.gov/MLNMattersArticles/. Report on an article posted to this website in the last year.
