Progressivism in Action

John Dewey believed in learning by doing, one of the keystones of Progressive education. Here is an example of an American Civics learning about the law by role playing different legal cases, in this case, the pledge of allegiance case. Obviously, this approach takes more time and fewer topics will be learned in this class.
