Match the research scenario with the appropriate research design.


1				Researchers examined the effects of a subliminal message on statistics exam scores. Participants were randomly assigned to either listen to music with or without a stress-reducing subliminal message during the statistics exam.


2				Participants were recruited to participate in a depth perception study. Participants were asked to align two metal rods first with their left eye covered and then their right eye covered. The difference between the two rods was recorded.

5				A psychologist wanted to see if there were differences in the capacity of short-term memory between children 5, 6, 7, and 8 years old. Children were given a short-term memory task and the number of digits they correctly recalled was recorded.
