Move is always difficult for children. However, move from one country to another is even harder. My father work for a multinational corporation it had offices all over the world. From the ages of six to eighteen, I have lived in seven different countries. My brother was always exciting about moving to a new place but I used to hated it. I cry every time I had to pack my things. Leaving my friends always the worst part. Making new friends use to frighten me. I would spent my first two months in a new place writing letters to my old friends. I not even smile at the other children in my class. As you can imagine, this would make it very difficult to make friends. Eventually I would start talk to the others but it had taken a long time. By the time I felt really comfortable, it was time to move again.
Now I married with children of my own. We lived in the same house on the same street for the past ten years. My children have friends that they knew since they have been babies. We have no plans to move ever. The other day I was surprise to hear my daughter tell her best friend, "Living in the same place is so bored!" I guess the grass is always greener in your neighbor's yard.
