Student solutions

The exercises in the book cover many aspects of basic software engineering. They are designed to allow the reader to develop skills and understanding, building upon the raw knowledge contained in the book.

A considerable number of the solutions are kept confidential in this manner so that lecturers can use the questions for assignments and tests. To enable students to work through the book on their own, however, a subset of the answers can be downloaded in a separate answer document for students. In general, the answers for students are for part a of multi-part questions.

To see a list of which exercises are in the manual for lecturers only (and therefore password-protected), and which exercises are contained in the answers for students, please click here.
