This is a very accessible first and second level book designed to incorporate and extend the Java: The First Semester, by the same authors. It will be useful for all students studying Java for the first timePart one of this book essentially contains all the material covered in Java: The First Semester and has been revised to reflect new developments in the field. Part two deals with the more advanced topics that have not been covered in the first semester. These topics can be considered advanced, but they are dealt with in a gentle and friendly way.
