Find the national unemployment rate for your gender and your race or ethnicity from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics at http://www.bls.gov. Once at the site, click "Unemployment Rate," which is found on the right. Now go to the "employment situation summary." Compare each rate that pertains to you with the overall U.S. unemployment rate.

Utilize the same search as in Web Activity 1 to report what has been happening to unemployment in recent months. Has it been stable, increasing, or decreasing? Is this trend indicative of overall economic conditions?
