To learn more about how Americans save and spend, log on to http://www.bea.gov and search for "personal savings." What has been happening to the personal savings rate in the past four years? All other things remaining constant, what does the trend suggest is happening to current consumption spending? What impact does this have on the aggregate demand curve?
