Instructor Resources:

Instructors Resource CD (0077264886) includes:

Instructor's Manual: Prepared by Kim Jaussi of SUNY Binghampton, the IM contains chapter overview; learning objectives; notes for opening case; key terms; list of resources available; lecture enhancers; notes for the end-of-chapter materials, and video case teaching notes. In addition, a new section and labels have been added that provide guidance on how to use the materials in the book and teaching package to help meet AACSB standards.

Testbank: Prepared by ANSR Source, has been thoroughly reviewed, revised and improved. There are about 90 questions per chapter including true-false, multiple-choice, & essay. Each question is tagged with the learning objective, the level of difficulty (corresponding to Bloom's Taxonomy with an appropriate mix of questions for the various levels), AACSB standards, the correct answer, and a page reference to the text.

The Computerized Test Bank (EZ Test) allows instructors to add and edit questions, create new versions of the test, and more. McGraw-Hill's EZ Test is a flexible and easy-to-use electronic testing program.  The program allows instructors to create tests from book specific items. It accommodates a wide range of question types and instructors may add their own questions.  Multiple versions of the test can be created and any test can be exported for use with course management systems such as WebCT, BlackBoard or eCollege.  The program is available for Windows and Macintosh environments.

PowerPoint Presentations: Prepared by Brad Cox of Midlands Tech, approximately 500 slides include key tables and figures from the text as well as original that help illustrate the main points in each chapter. Now you can make your classroom more interactive with the new “Movie Example” Slides and eInstruction (CPS) quiz and discussion questions. Movie example slides show how popular movies such as Office Space and Monty Python and the Holy Grail can be used to generated discussion and illustrate management concepts.

Videos Resources – McGraw-Hill provides you with the richest, most diverse video program of any publisher on the market. The following video resources are available to adopters of Jones/George 4 th Edition:

Vol. 2 (ISBN: 0073364231) – Now offering more than 70 video clips from sources such as BusinessWeek TV, PBS, NBC, BBC, CBS & McGraw-Hill are provided on 2 DVD sets. These company videos are organized by the 4 functions of management, planning, leading, organizing and controlling and feature companies such as Playstation, Panera Bread, Patagonia, Mini Cooper and the Greater Chicago Food Depository in 2 ½ to 15 minute clips. Corresponding video cases and a guide that ties the videos closely to the chapter can be found in the Instructor's Manual and Online.

Manager's Hot Seat Online! Now instructors can put students in the hot seat with access to an interactive program. Students are given an introduction to the situation, view a dossier of related management materials, and then watch 16 real managers apply their years of experience when confronting unscripted issues. As the scenario unfolds, questions about how the manager is handling the situation pop up, forcing the student to make decisions along with the manager. At the end of the scenario, students watch a post-interview with the manager, view how their responses matched up to the manager's decisions, and then submit a report critiquing the manager's choices while defending their own. Access to this online program is provided as part of the Premium Online Learning Access of this text. Access can also be purchased stand alone.
