Sharon Ferrett possesses over 25 years of experience in higher education as a college and university dean, director, and professor. She is also a management consultant and small business owner who brings this real world perspective to her presentations and her books.
Dr. Ferrett is a popular speaker in such areas as teaching, retention, study skills, motivation, team building, performance review, communication, and job search skills. She received graduate and undergraduate degrees from Western Michigan University as well as a Ph.D. from Michigan State University. She has also served as the academic advisor for the Liberal Studies and Interdisciplinary Studies majors at Humboldt State University.
Dr. Ferrett is currently a professor at Humboldt State University in Arcata, California, where she lives with her husband and two daughters. Her book titles, in addition to Peak Performance, include Strategies: Getting and Keeping the Job You Want, and Connections: Study Skills for College and Career Success.
