Web Quest

Introduction
In this unit, you learned that persuasive writing is all around us: in magazines, newspapers, books, posters, and radio and television programs. During World War II, the government used persuasive advertisements to get citizens to help with the war effort. In this activity, you'll look at one of these advertisements and then use what you've learned about persuasive writing to answer several questions.
