There are several strategies you can use to help fine tune your reading skills. Use a graphic organizer to retell content in a visual representation, and to help you remember and retain content. A Venn diagram will help you map out a compare-and-contrast text structure. Use the outer portion of the circles to show how topics or ideas are different. The overlapping part will compare two things, or show how they are similar.
