The Minister’s Black Veil

Hawthorne called his short story a parable. A parable is a story meant to illustrate a moral lesson. In this story, the lesson is that people should reveal their true selves and not judge other on superficial qualities. Think of a life lesson that is important to you, such as do not lie because the lie will eventually catch up with you. Write a parable based on the lesson. You can include details and characters from your imagination.
