Choose an entry from the diary and rewrite it as a news account to appear in a weekly journal from the Civil War days. Use stylistic elements appropriate to the genre and to the era. Keep your account as realistic as possible but embellish in a way that is appropriate for a news journal. Remember to write your article in the third-person point of view.
