Much Madness is divinest Sense, and Success is counted sweetest

Emily Dickinson often uses elliptical construction in her poems. An elliptical construction is one in which words are left out and must be inferred by the reader. For example, in the statement Close the door, the word you is inferred. Write a poem of your own in which you employ elliptical construction. You could use this construction to add interest or to provoke thoughts in your reader. You might also use elliptical construction to add double meaning for humorous effect.
