To Build a Fire

Imagine that you are one of the miners in the camp where the main character in Jack London’s story is heading. Eventually you go out in the woods and come across the man’s body. Write the first-person account detailing what the miner tells the others when he returns to camp. Keep in mind the challenges faced by the main character in the story. In your account, include how the miner deals with these conditions. Include not only what the miner sees but also his conclusions about what happened to the dead man based on the evidence nearby.
