Tips to Avoid the Common Cold

  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and warm water or use a liquid hand sanitizer.
  • Try to stay away from people who are sneezing and coughing (at least three feet).
  • Get plenty of rest.
  • Exercise as often as possible.
  • Eat healthy foods.
  • Don't smoke.
  • Don't share drinking glasses.
  • Check with your doctor about a flu shot and taking vitamins.
