William E. Glassman is a cognitive psychologist and is currently Professor of Psychology at Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada. He teaches introductory psychology and applied cognition, especially critical thinking. His research interests include problem-solving and short-term memory.

Marilyn Hadad is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Ryerson University. She teaches learning and development strategies for first year students, and courses in personality, personal growth, and abnormal psychology. Her research interests are in success strategies for first year students, personal growth and stress management.
