2		The idea of non-traditional, cross gender and inter-cultural casting has become routine in major markets. Using one of the Shakespeare plays, discuss how you might use non-gender and non-ethnic casting to illuminate your idea of the play.
3		The issue of political censorship has always been with us. Discuss your opinion on the subject. How far should theatre go? Is there a point at which no one should pass? What is more troubling: language, nudity, or violence?
4		The U.S. government subsidizes theatre considerably less than European states. Should the United State be more (or less) active in supporting the arts? Why? At what point does the act of subsidy allow governmental control of content?
