1		Go to a local production of a play. Then write a reasoned review using traditional methodologies.
2		Some plays succeed commercially or artistically despite bad or mixed reviews from the critics. Does this mean the critics were wrong? What do you suppose happened? Can you find some specific examples of this occurrence?
3		Some great American critics were Harold Clurman, Brooks Atkinson, and Walter Kerr. Read some of their reviews and compare their approaches to criticism.
4		Do we need critics? What purpose do they serve? Reflect on why we should (or shouldn't) have critics. What source can you find to support your position?
