Computer technologies are changing teaching and learning. When teachers use technology as a natural and necessary part of classroom practice, student experiences are enhanced in many ways. For students to be better prepared to learn with technology, teachers need to be better prepared to teach with technology. Colleges of education are providing pre-service teachers with learning experiences that allow them to explore methods of infusing technology into the curriculum.

There are a number of possibilities for a career focused in Instructional Technology:
