Errands-To-Go Vals daughter Nancy is impressed by Vals use of
Word to create logos and graphics. She asks for Vals help
in creating business forms for her babysitting service. Assume
the role of Val as she creates a series of documents for
Nancy. - Val explains to Nancy that the first step is to create a
logo for her business. Val shows how this can be done in
Microsoft Word. She begins by creating a new blank document.
She then creates the Heart AutoShape and inserts it into the
drawing canvas. She copies the heart and then pastes it back
to the drawing canvas. She repositions the second heart so
that it overlaps the first slightly to the right. She copies
and pastes this heart again and repositions it in a similar
fashion.
Val then removes the lines from all three hearts and applies
shades of red and pink as shown in Figure 6.7. Finally, she
adds the text "Nancys Babysitting Service" (in a bolded
Tahoma font) to the heart in front. She saves the document as
"Nancys Logo" and keeps it open for the next
exercise. Figure 6.7 "Nancys Logo" document | (10.0K) | |
