Digital divide  A term that refers to the gap between those who have access to computer technologies and those you do not have access.
Liquid crystal display projection panel  A projector that receives computer output and displays it on a liquid crystal screen placed on an overhead projector. The projector displays on a large screen the program that the computer.
Piracy  The act of illegally copying software.
Problem-solving software  Computer assisted software that helps students develop critical thinking skills with the intent that these skills will transfer to other areas of the curriculum.

Simulation  Software that approximates the conditions of the real world in an environment in which the user changes the variables.
Smart card  A credit card with an embedded microprocessor that provides information about its user's identity.
Video scan converter  A device that changes the personal computer or laptop output so it can be displayed on a television monitor.
