In Chapter Nine, the student will learn Aristotle's position of the virtue theory. The student will be able to contrast and compare Aristotle's Virtue Theory to Plato's Theory of Forms. It will also provide an insight for the student regarding Aristotle's influence on Aquinas. As with most theories or concepts, the student will be aware of the objections to Aristotle's Virtue Theory. The readings in Chapter Nine provide a classical approach to virtue as well as more contemporary views.
