Exercise 22.3 (19.0K)

Write a story about the preliminary hearing.
A preliminary hearing was held in Police Court on Thursday. The presiding judge was Dean Gardner. Gardner found that there was sufficient evidence for Henderson to be bound over for trial in Superior Court. Police Chief South testified that on the evening Miss Jones disappeared, Henderson had been seen a quarter mile from where her body was found. Gardner refused to set bond; he ordered that Henderson continue to be held in county jail.
