To download and install the Outline Tutor for Windows (2153.0K) to your hard drive, follow the instructions below.

Windows®

1. Download and unzip the Outline Tutor for Windows (2153.0K).

• Right click on the link in the preceding line.
• Choose "Save Target as..." or "Save Link as..." (depending on your Web browser).
• In the Windows "Save As" dialog box, choose "Desktop," then click Save.
• Depending on your connection, you may need to wait a few minutes for the download to complete. (The complete download will be slightly over 2 MB.)
• Minimize any windows that are in the way so that you can see your desktop. Locate the file "outlinetutor_win.zip" on your desktop.

2. Extract the Winzip archive "outlinetutor_win.zip" to your computer's hard drive.

• Right click on the archive file "outlinetutor_win.zip" on your desktop.
• In the right click menu, choose "Extract to folder C:\..." This will create a folder on your desktop which contains all the files.
• Double-click to open the new folder "outlinetutor_win" on your desktop.
• Double-click the file "Outline Tutor.exe" located inside the "outlinetutor_win" folder in order to start the program.

Please note:

• Never delete or separate any of the files in the folder "outlinetutor_win" or any of the folders inside it , or the program will no longer function properly. If this happens by accident, simply download the file again and start over.
• You MUST have the WinZip or another Zip archive compatible program to open the ZIP file. If you do not have WinZip this program, a free trial version can be downloaded for free by simply visiting the from the WinZip Web site at http://www.winzip.com.

In addition to the Outline Tutor, you also create an outline in Microsoft Word Document format using the Catalyst Outline Template.. Right-Click here and choose "Save as" to download the Outline Template (60.0K) [outlinetemplate.doc]. Double click this file to open it in Microsoft Word.

Macintosh

1. Download the Outline Tutor for Mac (2641.0K) .

• Click on the link in the preceding line.Minimize any windows that are in the way so that you can see your desktop.
• Locate the file "outlinetutor_mac.sit" on your desktop.

2) Extract the "outlinetutor_mac.sit" to your computer's hard drive.

• Double click on the outlinetutor_mac.sit file on your desktop.
• The file will automatically extract onto your desktop.
• A new folder named "Outline_Tutor_mac" should now be located on your desktop.
• Open the folder, double-click on the file "Outline Tutor," and follow the instructions on your screen.

In addition to the Outline Tutor, you also create an outline in Microsoft Word Document format using the Catalyst Outline Template.. Right-Click here and choose "Save as" to download the Outline Template (60.0K) [outlinetemplate.doc]. Double click this file to open it in Microsoft Word.
