Unit Activity Lesson Plans

Introduction
In this unit, students have studied spelling rules. Many nouns that come from ancient languages, such as Latin or Greek, have retained their plural forms. However, some plurals of borrowed words are spelled according to the common English pattern of adding s or es. In this lesson, students will practice spelling words with unusual plurals.

Lesson Description
Students will read a paragraph and find five misspelled words. Then, they must spell each word correctly in a box below the paragraph.
