Unit Activity Lesson Plans

Introduction
In Unit 5, students have read about the different types of expository writing. In this activity, they will identify items as relating to expository writing or to narrative writing, which they studied in Unit 4.

Lesson Description
Students will complete a column exercise, identifying items as either expository or narrative.

Instructional Objectives
  1. Students will be able to differentiate between narrative and expository writing.
  2. Students will review and reinforce the lesson from the previous unit.
