Students will choose two cards to match a term to a definition

  1. Students will be able to identify the components of narrative writing.
  2. Students will able to describe how the components of narrative writing affect the audience.

  2. cultural milieu–social setting
  3. conflict–what drives the plot of the story and keeps the audience interested
  4. mood–atmosphere

  7. suspense–what creates physical tension and anxiety
